Barbie

This is Barbie (I don’t know her real name). She is a curious girl living next to a school we visited in Uganda. She was looking across the fence with her sister when we arrived. We caused a commotion, they probably never seen so many white people at the same time. I was taking pictures of the entrance of the school and she came close to me to have a look at the camera, that’s when I took this picture.

One  thing that surprised me in Uganda is how calm children are. I only saw one little one cry. They smile a lot and are very curious. They like touching people.
